The California Council on Economic Education is the leading provider of economic and financial literacy education to K-12 teachers and students. Our programs help teachers and students make better personal and financial decisions, which improve their ability to succeed and compete in the global economy.
How We Implement Our Mission
We deliver programs and resources that help teachers enrich their course content in a wide range of subjects, such as Social Studies, Math, and Language Arts. We are transforming our curriculum to an easy to use, online learning platform:
Improves teacher effectiveness
Uses real time outcome assessment
Aligns with California's curriculum standards
I don't think there are adequate words to describe the incredible experience my students and I had yesterday [at the MoneyWise Teen Competition]! This was a life-changing event! My kids are told that they are losers, that they won't graduate, that they have to come to our school (which other teachers consider second-rate) and yet, here they succeeded! So thank you, thank you.
I would like to say that without the assistance of CCEE I would not be the educator that I am today. I would like to continue to give the necessary education to our future and with your plans, seminars, networking and conference I will be able to do that. Thank you all and once again especially for the economic knowledge that will continue to be forwarded to all.
